Our history

At Almendras Utrera, we have been connected to the world of almonds for more than 80 years, building a story based on hard work, progress and commitment to our customers.

Generation after generation, we have grown by incorporating new technologies and expanding our capabilities, without losing sight of our values.

A constantly evolving journey

1965

Miguel Utrera Molina buys the first truck, an Avia 3500.

1966

Acquisition of the first cracker and separator.

1994

With the second generation joining the company, the first international export is made.

2000

Evolution of the business model with the acquisition of the first peeler and the first processing line.

2008

Peeling capacity is doubled; the second peeler is purchased.

2011

Construction of 10,000 m² of new facilities in Albanchez.

2012

Increase in shelling capacity with the installation of the second shelling unit.

2018

Expansion of storage silos for in-shell almonds.

2020

Automation of the processing line, incorporating a box former, multihead packers and a robotic palletizing arm.

2022

A third peeler is installed, the model with the highest peeling capacity on the market.

2025

Expansion of the facilities to reach 14,000 m² built.

2026

Commissioning of the third shelling unit, adapted to new almond varieties.
